Here it goes...

This is my first blog post. I've thought about creating my own blog for awhile now after seeing the blogs of some friends. Mine won't be near as well-written or insightful as theirs are, but that's okay with me. I just want a place to write down the things that happen in my life so that I can keep track of them and share them with my friends and family, most of whom are very far away from me right now. Really, the reason that it took me so long to create a blog was because I couldnt think of a name for it. I know, that's a silly reason...Imean, there are so many other reasons that I shouldn't have created this blog (i.e., I don't have enough time, I already have a Myspace and Facebook page, I really don't write that well, I'll probably embarrass myself because I'm way too honest sometimes, and I really dont have enough time - what am I doing here?). See, this is what I was scared of, I probably shouldn't have used parenthesis for that. I CLEPped out of all of the English courses I needed for my degree and shot myself in the foot! Well, I have to go rescue my 6 month old from the perils that face her as a new crawler and take the turkey away from my 3-year-old (dont ask!). And so ends my first blog post.
